Using NetVoice requires virtually no IT for computing skills. We prove simple, easy to follow instructions on how to connect the hardware we provide to your existing ADSL or other broadband device.
NetVoice is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service, as such it require a high speed broadband Internet connection. Locally available examples include ADSL, and Wireless. If you do not currently have ADSL or high speed wireless internet access, you will need to acquire such a service before you can become a NetVoice user.
Subscribers to NetVoice are also advised to attach a valid credit card to their account, which can be used to add funds to their account as required.
How do I get started?
Standard NetVoice service costs US$40, for startup. This initial payment covers the purchase of the required telephone adapter, which is a hardware device that connects to your Internet connection and standard telephone. When your account is first activated, you must also pay an additional amount, equivalent to the cost of your desired calling plan.
The cost of your selected monthly plan deducted from your initial cash balance at the start of service and each month thereafter. Additional deductions will also be made for any calls made outside of your selected plans coverage area, e.g. If you subscribe to US and Canada Unlimted, but you also make occasional calls to Trinidad, these calls will be deducted at the standard per minute rate to Trinidad. |
